A Gallon of fuel in the provinces is now 5.04p on average. LTI vehicles do no more than 30 mpg, 28 if your lucky. Some Councils insist on WAV vehicles with a restricted turning circle, in which LTI is a predominant factor. Compare LTI vehicles to the potential of other WAV vehicles that perform at 40 mpg or greater? I believe this could be an unreasonable condition by councillors who fail to take into account or consider the consequences of their actions in relation to the needs of Taxi drivers over their own personal ambitions. I believe a court of law would think the same way as I do. Regards JD |
