ok folks here we go as guest once remarked we are delving the depths but just because he is a bigot does not mean the rest of you are but can i pick youre brains . ok to start with im gay & i love to crossdress so when i have time off you will see me in a dress. anyhow after the schools in our area broke up my boss re-arranged my hours so i had five hours free so i had a shower shaved my legs then got all dressed up everyone in my home town knows me & 99% are ok with that fact but 1% are assholes but no real harm . however that being said someone had the audacity to phone up my boss & tell him i was dressed up so come the monday (cash in day ) he challenged me so i told him straight yes between 1pm(13.00) & 5.30 ( 17.30 ) i was but after that as i was back to male gender as requested by him so he listened to me then said that he would investagate so fine i thought no problem. anyhow at 12.00 he called me up to the office so in i go to be told that i was to be given 8 weeks notice tjhats about 1 week for evedry year that i have been with the firm but when i protested my innocence he asked me was i calling his freind a liar i was so angry & astounded i did not reply so now i have lost my job . so i ask do i have a leg to stand on by the way that 5 hours were on the friday two days after the schools broke up |

Tell your boss to shove his job up his arse, there are plenty of other Taxi firms wanting drivers. If you are ok with cross dressing and 99% of local people are ok with it why is your boss acting like a knob? |

Most firms have some sort of dress-code, people either adhere to it, or they don't. As Nigel says, join another circuit, or start your own. |

I would just get an operators license and start of with like minded customers. You never know you might just pick up a few those that mock you.

You could always try dragging your boss through an employment tribual. There are plenty of employment solicitors that would love to take the case no win no fee, you may get enough to buy yourself a hackney plate!!! I know that you may see yourself as self-employed but it is unlikely that the tribunal would see it that way. |
