| Post subject: | Small cars licensed as taxis / PH |
Personally, I think the Focus and Astra are too small for the job, instead I'd use a Mondeo or Vectra. That's not to say that the smaller cars aren't licensed though. What I saw today though was ridiculous, a Ford Fiesta on private hire, anybody else seen one working? |

Nearly crashed my motor the other day when I saw a London licensed PH Fiat Punto.

What I saw today though was ridiculous, a Ford Fiesta on private hire, anybody else seen one working? We have both licenced as hack here, in fact there are 7 Astra's and 3 Focuses, the only stipulation Scottish borders council have is it must have a 1.4 engine or above, Oh and 2 Fiestas

Punto? that's good, you should see some of the London Minicab fleet, great if your dwarf, useless for anything else. |

I believe Addison Lee Minicab's still run a few 'Taxy bikes' ( )
They're not very popular, as I've yet to witness one with a pillion onboard. The LTDA took them to court, as they originaly advertised them as London Taxi's with two wheels.
