I insured a new one fully comp 2 years ago and it cost me £1375.....then after a change of vehicle and a transfer of a 4 year NCB policy it came down to £795 fom a company Called Minibus Plus. now I dont know if thats average or not. All i know is the 60 Mph speed restrictor i was going have to have fitted, the million stickers for this that and the next thing, the Tachograph i needed to get, a second driver needing put through a PCV test, the Compulsory extra days training, the ridiculously complicated and invasive rules from the EU and finally the 25 miles it did to gallon of liquid gold/diesel all added to my oppinion that it was not worth the hassle...now that vehicle is someone elses worry...glad to be shot of it.
