Go to Manchester City Council's website, find the tariff sheet, then go to multimap, do the mileage and away you go.

I think the cab fare will be about £100 if you get that Bury driver.

But they do have trains in Manchester.

Bolton town centre is approximately 12 miles from Manchester and on Tariff 2 it clocks in the region of 24 pounds. A legitimate private hire company might well charge a different rate? Considering most Manchester cabbies nearly always apply an extra charge for going out of the area then it is likely that after midnight a passenger might not get to Bolton in a Manchester black cab for less than £30.

There is an unofficial fare sheet in circulation that some drivers work from, the sheet gives fixed prices for out of area destinations but in the main these are slightly exaggerated and only the heartless would actually rigidly stick to these prices.

Regards

JD
