my car is switchable so it can run on neat diesel from main tank or when it warms up i flick a switch then it turns the diesel of and turns my 30l tank on in my boot which is 100% waste cooking oil from curry shops and restaraunts . theres loads of info on the net about it bt beware not all cars are compatable .

It stands to reason that this alternative fuel source must be be pretty well Exhausted, there are so many doing it nowadays and they are also having to compete with others that take used cooking to sell to Cosmetic companies so they can use it as well....all to gimmicky this idea not to mention Messy...

who ever of heard of Rich Italian chip fat barons.

????

Emissions are tested on our diesels down here.

Should imagine it would be the same nationwide.

they say emmition check on a diesel but its realy checking how much smoke there is. on a petrol its emmitions.

earlier VW diesls used the umwelt engine, not sure about the passat, certainly the golf did, the chip oil you use would probably knacker a Hdi/common rail engine inj pump in about 10,000 miles.
