you pick someone up, ask "wheres you going to"

going to so and so , ok, you are going to so and so, repeating the destination

on getting to the destination i ask where abouts do you want me to stop, where are we exclaims the punter, exactly where you asked

well i dont want to be here, i only live here, but i need to be at my boy friends [which was 4 miles back] you must have misunderstood or not heard

nah, it was quite clear where you wanted to be, i repeated it back, well i am not paying the full amount, but i charged the amount to where they sent me

some of these people live in a day dream world

I'm the same as you, always repeat back where they say for confirmation.

Tough titties then, they pay, their f'up.

Obviously descretion is advised, especially if they are large, p!ssed and angry. :lol:

I've lost count of how many times I've checked a destination with passengers only for them to turn round and say where are you going half way throgh the journey the trouble is they DONT listen to what you are saying :sad:

Its worse when you get them home when theyre really bladdered only to discover they aint lived there for the past year but were so Gassed they couldnt and sometimes still can't remember their latest address.. :sad:

I've had totally sober people confirm a destination only to be incorrect, like someone else posted, half these dimwits don't listen and just say yes to anything.

yeah right the traffics bad enough round here but central london no way could i cope with that more than once a year !
