Mark Croft Going Back To Work As Cabbie

5th October 2008

The hubby of broke Kerry Katona is doing a TAXI return—as the couple could face a mammoth bill over his possible secret love child.

Former cabbie Mark Croft wants to get back behind the wheel to help with the maintenance money if he turns out to be the FATHER of his ex-lover’s child.

And Mark—who used to run a humble Vauxhall Vectra taxi in the days before Kerry—now wants to use his fleet of LUXURY supercars for an upmarket limo service.

He and Kerry have met with his old flame, who—as we revealed last week—discovered the guy she’s with now wasn’t dad of her three-year-old son.

So Mark, 37, is arranging a paternity test, and Kerry seems resigned to him being the father.

She said this week: “Even if it is Mark’s kid, it happened a long way before I met him.”

Former Atomic Kitten Kerry, 28, has been declared bankrupt over an unpaid £82,000 tax bill—and now faces a huge bill from the Child Support Agency for the past three years, plus all the future payments.

Mark, who already has Maxwell, five months, and Heidi, 16 months, with Kerry as well as Keeley, six, from a previous relationship, has told her he’ll go back on the cabs.

But he doesn’t plan on carting drunks around his old patch in Warrington.

The couple now live in a £1.2 million home in Wilmslow, Cheshire, and Croft reckons there’s money to be made ferrying around the rich county set.

Our source added: “Now Kerry’s terrified he’ll end up having an affair with some well-spoken Cheshire lady.

“Before he fell for her, he met loads of different women on the taxi route and had a real reputation for having flings with them.”
