Why would anyone bother? The punter on the street is not going to notice any difference and won't care either. :roll:

what it should say is:-


"front end damaged and repaired with tx4 bits we had lying around/got cheap"

or

"we cut and shut a tx2 rear onto a tx4 front"

There's a few in London, Fayek from the bodyshop at the Bethnal Green Taxi centre has done a few after they've been involved in a front end collision.

The PCO allow it.

Prefer the original TX front end personally.

TX4 looks like a 21st century twist on an FX front end (which I believe was the idea)
