I was told recently that somebody had bought over clydebank T.O.A the same guy that has bought over clyde cars, few weeks ago and also owns great western taxis. So there must be money somewere getting laundered i think. 8)

what does each charge for a radio, how many on the circuits, work it out, all cash...

its not called a CREDIT crunch for nothing

would it be fair to say York Stn taxis are not operating legally, re station permits, some drivers are paying 25 quid weekly, others monthly, others quarterly, also alleged with a bit extra to cover collecting costs

surely this is a credit transaction, and need a licence
when GNER issued permits they couldn't give credit cos they didn't have a consumer credit licence, you payed it all up front

Maybe the credit crunch helped the price go down to the value that the new owners considered right.

I would have thought well run cab/PH firms are recession proof. :-s
