whats the difference between having a mobile number advertised on your car and a landline number ? plenty of hackneys round here ( PH doesn't really esxist) have mobile numbers on the back of their rooflights I don't see what the problem is ? |

We had the same argument with our LO. I think the basic argument was that a telephone booking has to be made through the office and the office has to have a land line number therfore the only number you can have on the car is a land line number. Don't forget that when the rules were drawn up there were no mobile phones.

as with all things HC/PH, it was "in the regs" the no 2 LO had told me that the "no mobile rule" had been deleted but but not removed from the regs (well, 3 years isnt so long) but ive a feeling LO no 1 was of a different mind. Lo no2 said it had been recinded as it was anti-owner driver |
