I think that is about the worst survey I have ever looked at.

The authour of it needs to spend a bit more time on the presentation and explain the star system to contributors.

I like the idea of getting driver's views, but this is a 2 out of 10 effort. Which is a shame.

The Law Commission has collected all the consultation questions on a Word document, so if you've got basic word processing skills  then you can just put your responses on the document between the various questions and it's ready to go.

Not sure what happens if you don't have Word. Other word processors may or may not be able to open the document.

Who are the Private Hire Reform Campaign?

They have posted this webpage online and are urging their members or affiliates to respond to the proposals and questions from the Law Commission in the set manner as per the webpage with some of the answers already filled in.

I would guess that 'George Amber' is just a pseudonym.

Just look at some of their suggested or recommended answers.

They sound like a real renegade mob!!

Run by David Wilson, who I think was responsible for the Berwick aspect of the whole licensing omnishambles.

He now runs a licensing consultancy.

The PHRC seems to represent private hire operators.

"David Wilson said that he mainly represented PHV operators."

"PHRC is not an association, merely a campaign run by operators, for operators, for the future of our industry."

And Wilson was and probably still is allegedly in cahoots with your friend and mine Mr James ('call me Jim') TH Button.

Allegedly this pair premeditatedly conjured up, schemed and conspired the dastardly Berwick plates plan to force a re-think of the legislation.
