It's the person behind NATU that is the danger. If and when you meet Beuret, you'll find out for yourself. She's no friend of the HC or PH trades. But her beguiling and disarming smile, I too would die to be equiped with. It puts you totally off guard and then the knife comes in and you don't even see the glistening of the shining blade. |

All that might be well and good, but you need to take issue with whatever points she is raising, not just say she's horrible so please ignore her. Because rightly or wrongly the LC will quote her extensively if she agrees with them. |

You mean she disagreed with you? ![]() Sussex wrote: Brummie Cabbie wrote: http://www.taxiuser.org.uk/ Just for my records, what exactly did they/she say in that press release to miff you off? ![]() Nothing to do with the NATU questioning the Holy Grail, perchance? Don't know anything about the woman, but from what I can see from the NATU website a lot of what they say I agree with and for an organisation of this type they actually seem quite switched on about the trade and the issues. In fact from what I know about the NATU I'm in a lot more agreement with them than I am with the LC. And it's also good that there's now a group representing taxi users, albeit that it's probably pretty marginal in terms of representation. It's always amazed me that until a couple of years ago there was no consumer representation regarding the trade. |

The only thing I strongly disagree with (so far) is their opinion that taxi fares are too high. I think before people comment on the fares they should at least have evidence of costs to run a taxi along side their opinion that the fares are too high |
