So keep them coming. And I'm sure you can increase the standard a bit. Image

If he's achieved seven out of ten with you, then that's a First at Uni; what more do you want?

It's "they've", not "he's".

And the scoring system is more Olympic gymnastics than university degrees.

How can it be "they've"?

You're doing the kcufing marking, FFS!!!

I thought that initially as well, but in fact it's all very pertinent to the LC's proposals.

I mean, cross-border issues and the uncertainty over plate values. Where better to put them - the 'Repairs and maintenance' section? :?

If new legislation brought about a system where plate values were zero, for instance transfers would be banned, but limitation of numbers was allowed by individual licensing authorities to a strict assessment code, would you be happy, Mr Dusty Bin?

It's 'they've' because I was quoting three different people

And do you people really think swearing twice within a very short sentence is going to impress the likes of the LC?

You edited your post six times and that's the best you can do?

No, I think there's an overall over-supply in the two trades, and your proposal wouldn't do anything to stop the over-supply of drivers.

Firstly, I don't believe you believe your post.

But assuming it is written in good faith, the nil or zero value of plates might well preclude the entry into the trade of some of the 'make a quick buck and scarper' brigade, which might see a slight reduction of drivers in the trades.

I edited the post six times because I was trying to give you 0/10, but the smiley wouldn't have it no matter how much I tried, so I had to settle for 1/10.

But I still think it was worth 0/10!!

But did those three different people give the 7/10 score?

The poster, you, gave the 7/10 score.

You said:

When my post referred to - and was scoring - three different people. So "he's" should have been "they've".

A bit like team gymnastics.

Plate transfers have been illegal here for years. It hasn't stopped them and they just find other ways to abuse the system.

There must be a loophole in the system for them to abuse it. Sign of bad legislation perhaps if they close the loophole it would stop.
