Is it apathy or ignorance or both?

Probably both and with only you making a comment after 37 have viewed this thread, 'Apathy Rules KO!' as the dyslexic wrote.

I can't be bothered to be apathetic.

Our LA is paying attention - our members look to the PLTA committee - the rest, yes, apathetic and ignorant.

The document costs £40, the document is too long, the document summary is broadly inaccurate so you need to read the thick document, to read the thick document you need to be aware of taxi law, to read the thick document you need to trust the LC as being honest in their citations....they arent.....and you need time to do all of the above.

You also need to be able to believe you will make a difference, many dont believe this and with good reason too.

Beware the ides of march

You missed out that the original document was over 500 pages long and as only 240 or so pages were published for the trades' attention, it follows that the other 260 plus pages or so were selectively culled, leaving the trades' to mull over the 'healthy pages'.

I missed that out, they missed a plot, which presumably they lost when they hired James Button as an advisor........tbh in terms of tact thats like hiring osama bin laden for the new british airways commercial.
