What will change is - the demise of the small PH firms.

If it comes in as alluded to in the interim statement, five years after enactment all the Cities will be one or two operators (out of a field of maybe 5). Ten years later you can add in all the larger towns. Fifteen years and the rural areas will be in the same boat.

If that is no change just how big a change are you expecting.

I'm not sure it works like that in rural PH, people tend to use you because they know you or like you as well as how dependable you are. at least that's the way of it around here.

I don't think the Big Boys will crack the Rural scene as its not likely to be worth their effort...

Even on Council contracts they'll struggle to compete, we already have the Ridiculously low price firms being turned down for contracts because it simply does not pay them enough to allow them to maintain their vehicles up to the expected standards.
