I think the taxi bits include Scotland as they are not listed in the English only, or English and Welsh only, sections.

The end sections show the exempted bits, but I'm pretty certain it's a UK act.

Taxis and PHC are a devolved matter and covered by The CGSA 1982. The dereg bill makes much mention of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, which AFAIK doesn't apply here.

The purpose of this letter is to draw your attention to several changes to taxi and private hire vehicle (PHV) legislation which are being proposed by the Government. The changes affect the legislation which applies in England outside London and Wales.

Perhaps there is no need for a Scottish section as "TDO uk cab trade debate and advice" is a very worthwhile and helpful effort that does much to promote and assist the trade throughout the UK


It would be helpful and ensure only the best advice is offered to put all the English only stuff in an English Section.
