I contacted a company in Rugby about a legally complient system that they are bringing to the market. I have now had meetings with them to check it's availability (now on sale) and abilities.
When I say legally complient, it is my understanding that: for the system to be used in a court environment, it must be a closed system with restricted access.
Theirs is currently under assessment from the London PCO and is tittering on the edge of being given the green light for London Hackneys.
I am informed that the fitted price is expected to be in the region of £899 inc Vat which, is due to the quality and specification of the equipment. It offers almost DVD quality recording in real time.

They are in negotiations with a finance company to do a hire type agreement and are targeting £1 per day.

Anybody got an opinion.....
(Retorical question obviously!!!)

A court will view any evidence and make a judgement on that evidence, but clearly the more safe guards on the credibility of that evidence the better.

Lets be honest in todays climate you'll be lucky if you get any finance unless of course you are squeaky clean and probably don't need it

Apart from that why should we have to pay for the full hit of this expense when other public services get subsidised. As I said at the beginning of this discussion it won't be a case of won't pay for it it'll be a case of can't pay for it.

My point is that we have to pay for the meter.

For me 'thick' is a very placid word, and maybe a more sterner word would appear at any other time of the year.
