Now when you consider that Edinburgh has been restricted since the early 1990s. It makes you wonder what Dundee expects from restriction, possibly more private hire perhaps?

Gary, they probably hope to get a fair share of what work there is.
The problem in Edinburgh is the way plates are distributed and not the amount.
Rentals are too high and a lot of plate holders are simply vehicle rental companies where the holder does not drive at all.
I don't believe removing the cap will do any good. I believe the whole system needs starting afresh.
I know you're primary 5 material, nut tell us all how putting a cap on is gonna help drivers and customers in Dundee,
