Not guilty plea over Birmingham taxi driver murder

Mohammed Arshad died in hospital
A 28-year-old man charged with murdering a taxi driver has pleaded not guilty.

Andrew Bayliss, of Ratcliffe Avenue, Kings Norton, Birmingham, was remanded in custody after the hearing at the city's crown court.

Father-of-three Mohammed Arshad, 36, was stabbed in the head in the attack in Wast Hills Lane, Kings Norton, on 22 July 2009.

Mr Bayliss was charged in November. A trial date has not yet been fixed
