i dont think it is really, the banks do it, BT do it, almost everyone does it, why not councils, the old joke about council workmen (leaning on their shovels) was founded in truth, inefficient, over spending, pampered workers, etc

I can see in years to come that taxi enforcement will be outsourced to India, Taiwan, Malaysia or wherever and we'll all get tickets through the post from these far off places, with the evidence recorded from CCTV images that have been beamed across the world.

The virtual enforcement officer will have been born!!

why not, most of the drivers in brum come from those places already...

Cant we simply outsource every single council job in every UK council...that way we might get some value for money and some seriously reduced golden handhake and pension pot pay outs....

I bet the Councillors wouldnt like that much...
