So, someone got a slap, big deal. I've been punched on a number of occasions and never thought to report it. Saying that, I've punched a few myself but only because they deserved it. Sh*t happens in life that's just the way it is. Now that I think about it, I got gobbed on once around the corner from the west end police station but couldn't work out how to get my hands on the ba*tard, lucky him, fu*king cameras. It was like being on Big Brother.

A few years after I started driving taxis. I took a punter to Bingham Avenue. The [edited by admin] was p*shed and thought he would just walk away without paying the fare. I remember it like it was yesterday because the doors wouldn't lock on the foot brake. He tried to get out without paying. I jumped out and knocked him back into the taxi and grabbed him by the testicles. I'll never forget the look on his face. It was like he had an Epiphany and realise, he was doing wrong. The funny thing was he had the money, but it was all in change. It's a strange life driving a taxi. :?

Provocation isn't a defence, it's a form of mitigation once convicted.

He's been convicted.....why not immediately suspend him and get him in front of a committee?

If his name was Jim Smith no doubt they would have suspended him. With an Engslish name like Chaudhry I doubt they will in case the natives get restless.

We got told by our Licensing Officer last week to stop telling people to contact them with complaints regariding drivers.

If their licensing department is like ours their attitude is if its a taxi driver taking action against another taxi driver then its none of their business only if a customer is harmed or inconvenienced in any way.

I have complained on many occasions about the behaviour of other drivers the council refuses to take any action so its probably the same here
