Chomsky, is one of the foremost intellectuals of our time. There are few, if any, who can match his debating skills. It's a brave man who takes on Chomsky. I've read his books and watched, many a debate and have yet to see him in difficulty making a point. His knowledge is encyclopedic. You are of course entitled to your view but "proven more times wrong than right" I don't think. :-|

Chomsky has declared himself a libertarian and anarchist but has defended some of the most authoritarian and murderous regimes in human history. His political philosophy is purportedly based on empowering the oppressed and toiling masses but he has contempt for ordinary people who he regards as ignorant dupes of the privileged and the powerful. He has defined the responsibility of the intellectual as the pursuit of truth and the exposure of lies, but has supported the regimes he admires by suppressing the truth and perpetrating falsehoods. He has endorsed universal moral principles but has only applied them to Western liberal democracies, while continuing to rationalize the crimes of his own political favorites. He is a mandarin who denounces mandarins. When caught out making culpably irresponsible misjudgments, as he was over Cambodia and Sudan, he has never admitted he was wrong.

Upon a second reading of your mother and father's life raising a family of five cockroaches, I can now see how you believe you've come a long way but unfortunately, still don't know any better. It's genetic, maybe ignorance is bliss after all.

Let’s see if you’re, sober enough, or man enough, to apologise for this.

Seriously, if it makes you happy I, apologise. However, I am almost certain something has made you upset. It's not like you to be this aggressive and negative without provocation. Economic collapse, civil disorder and War are just symptoms of life in the twenty-first century. Look at it this way, some sort of insurrection has been long overdue in this country, and you never know. They might manage to avert it, although I wouldn't hold my breath. And there is the possibility the internet chatter is all wrong but this time, I doubt it. :-|

Chomsky, has been writing books, commenting and giving lectures all over the world for decades, and this is all you could come up with, and you don't even identify your source. #-o

Nearer to 'touchy-feely' than 'touchy' I would say, especially since it's Skull we're talking about here
