Police release CCTV image of man suspected of robbing taxi passenger in Solihull 
THIS is the face of a man who is believed to have robbed a fellow passenger in a Solihull taxi.
The man offered to share a private hire vehicle with another man – and then robbed him. Police have released this CCTV image of the offender in the hope someone will recognise him.
The incident happened in Thornby Avenue, Solihull, at around 11.45pm on Thursday May 17 when the pair, who did not know each other, decided to share a taxi from the town centre.
Not long after having left Solihull, the offender told the taxi to stop, claiming he recognised someone he wanted to speak to.
The 24-year-old victim got out of the taxi with the offender and, as he did so, the offender grabbed him by the arm and used his other hand to snatch a gold bracelet worth over £1,000.
