I didn't buy the cab new, it was an ex Edinburgh cab, 58 plate just over a year old with 68K on the clock. I've now had it just over 2years and done 70k on it. Only problem I've had was the EGR valve went at 100K, was prob the original. I've replaced 1 set of front and 1 set rear disc pads. I'm on 2nd set of tyres, still loads of tread left. Still on same wishbones, ball joints & track rod ends. Cab flew through inspection with no advisories every time, (we have 6 monthly inspections). Replaced 1 front wheel bearing a couple of weeks ago as I thought there was a rumble from n/s, turned out it was just tyre noise

Front anti roll bar was fitted with the upgrade kit that I posted about in an earlier thread and since then I've had no problems with that.
I replaced timing belt at 112K as I didn't believe Allied when they said they'd done it before I took delivery. Just gave me piece of mind to know that it was now done, did water pump at same time (recommended) Cab gets serviced every 10K, not the recommended 12K. Always thought 12K was too long for the same oil to be in there and it's an awfy wee oil filter. No probs with side steps or sliding doors, once again abuse and poor maintenance is the main cause of any.
As far as fuel consumption is concerned (it's a manual) never checked it exactly as I rarely neck the tank being single shifted but I get well over 30mpg, prob around the 35 mark on average I reckon.
And that's about it. Look after the cab and it'll look after you.
