I feel sorry for the good people who have to drive just north of Edinburgh's Princes street, that place is one big traffic nightmare. If you follow the Diversions as shown, especially at night, then there's a good chance your going to end up back where you set off and seldom where you want to be...you live in fear of driving where you shouldn't and getting fined because of it, It's almost as if the council deliberately factored in confusion at the planning and design stage.

Who's ultimately responsible for such a howk as that?

I have no difficulty, as I can use any bus lane, or just follow the signs that say taxis :D
