As with most foods, it is down to personal taste. Although the Dickinson and Morris pork pie is considered to be the "original" pork pie, It is not to everyone's taste and can be a bit "spicy" for some people. It goes without saying that I have tried my fair share of pork pies and I prefer the Baileys pie myself. It is still classed as a Melton Mowbray pork pie because it is made within the borough.
I must come over to Stamford and let you buy me one of these Nelson's pies.
