TfL state that they have been working closely with the vehicle manufacturers on the development of future "zero emission capable" taxis. The new taxis use the latest technology, have a number of enhanced features and give drivers a greater choice of vehicles.
They will also play a vital role in reducing emission and improving the air quality in London.
