--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If the plank had bothered to read what the councillor said, then he would have seen that she dosen't want all cabs to be WAVs, just more than they have at present.

And I suspect that there are some drivers (non plate-holders) in Oldham that would be willing to spend £30,000 on a taxi WAV, but not £50,000 on just a plate.

That aside, let's all hope the plank is right and Oldham do the right thing and de-limit, and if it's all down to TDO, then I doubt much he will mind.

Sussex......As you might remember I have a brother, (DR T) and on your behalf, I had a word with him about your fixation on everyone being equal and having the same rights,( which they do already) but you seem to think that you are poorly done by,and the fact that you take a great deal of pleasure in the thought that people will lose out on years of hard work.

He said to me that part of the problem was that you are a lazy bas***d, and there was nothing he could do about that.

But he also said .That the fixation on being equal was down to something from your boyhood, maybe something that happened in say the boys changing rooms, where you first realised that life was not fair, but he said not to worry, that nowadays a simple cosmetic operation on the lower part of the body often resulted in success. and that he knew of a good plastic surgeon that does a lot of this type of work for the P/H in sussex..love..mrT..

I could well be a lazy bas***d, but what the f*** has that got to do with the issue at hand?

I'm still desperate, yes desperate, to find the section in the DDA that allows deprived areas exemption.

See when you have union officials talking tosh such as this the lads on the street think they are onto a winner, when in fact he is talking his usual utter rubbish and leading them up the garden path.

The situation in Oldham is the same in many other areas, they don't have enough WAVs. And until those councils do something to address that, then they will get problems such as the one encountered by the councillor.

As for the plank, well who is the bigger fool, the lying c*** himself, or the folk that take notice of him? Or perhaps they are as bad as one another.

Well I found this on another site, authored by one of our old mates:
So everyone has got to have a WAV on the say so of one passenger? Like I said this stinks of TDO "AGAIN".

The latest news from the states is that TDO was also responsible for the hurricane.
