There doesn't seem to be a problem with sliding doors? In fact there doesn't seem to be any doors? I wonder when the wheelchair version wil hit our shores?

Just you lot remember, that if, god forbid, these contraptions ever make it (legitimatley) onto the streets of the capital, your towns will surely follow!

I am very interested to find out if the tuk tuk will be allowed as a taxi, i think that they are the best mode of transport for short trips and from what i have read I'm not the only one.

They are legal to use as taxis in the UK though there is some variation from borough to borough.

As from mid june for the first time our tuk-tuks are going to recieve full Hackney licenses in Weston Super Mare.

This has been agreed with Bristol City Council.

Might consider a fleet myself, seems to be no end of people willing to risk life and limb and be exploited, if one breaks down just call for the local breakdown elephant to come and give you a tow :lol:

I wonder how the tuk-tuk will effect the plate value in Edinburgh :?: it won't be long before you will be working for a bowl of rice. :lol:
