Peter Aliss is a class act with quips and jokes all the time - and then this.

There was me thinking that Mary Whitehouse had gone yonks ago, I guess that there must be a lab reincarnating a sad brigade somewhere.

the world is going completely mad - I wonder what the beeb and the pc brigade think about female genital mutilation, or forced marriages or perhaps a religion that makes woman truly second class? ahh yes, the silence is golden.

I was watching the golf and heard him say it, I laughed at the time in turn thinking no more about as it went completely over my head.

Unfortunately we have some really sad buggers out there, I guess mostly the press attempting to stir up non stories, hoping to turn them into actual newsworthy items.

I like the BBC, the TV and the Radio.

But it's endless pointless PC bureaucracy is what will be the death of it.

Or maybe cause this gov to bin the old, and start afresh.

They'll be replacing "Songs of Praise" with "Just a Minaret" soon.

It's about time the BBC was put out of it's misery. It's an old horse that's been ridden hard. Remember the Child Abuse Cases they tried to sweep under the carpets?

Peter Aliss made the exact same comment when Mike Weir won the US Masters in 2003. Not defending him, just pointing out how things can be quoted and highlighted to suit someone's agenda. We will miss him, that's for sure.
