BMW being used as Uber car seized after Brighton crash

A BMW driver has had their vehicle seized after a two car crash.

Emergency services were called to Grand Parade at 9.45am on Friday to a collision between two cars.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said no-one was injured.

One of the vehicles, a BMW, was seized for having no insurance.

PC John Winter, of Sussex Police, said the vehicle was being used as an Uber car.

I thought someone was saying that TfL 'All operators are required to upload vehicle and driver details every week' - surely this would include insurance confirmation?

Sometimes it's easier to post a link, especially when your posting via an iPad a long way from home. :)

why don't we agree that if a link only is posted then the poster has to edit the booking within say 24 hours with the text or the thread is deleted. That way we can set a basic standard for all news posts but a sticky to that effect needs putting up
