Typed the route into google maps and it didn't show that route.

I remember I was given a free ride (upto a tenner) on Uber a couple of years back, instead of walking from Victoria Station to Piccadilly Station I used to free ride, the driver didn't go the shortest or most direct route, he just followed what was on his phone.

Recently for the B&H marathon Uber also operated a surge.

For a job to Heathrow which a local car would do for £100-£150 they wanted £447.
