No suggestion of any driver involvement here, but, you know...

But if you ever want an example of a classic he said/she said scenario, then this is it, and requires careful reading to take it all in. Which I didn't do

Woman attacks man and puppy in taxi after row in street

https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/li ... i-23365701

The victim reportedly suffered a swollen face and was left shocked and distressed

A man was assaulted by a woman and verbally abused while he was in a taxi on Lowwood Road in Birkenhead at around 4.35pm on Thursday.

The assault was captured by the victim's partner on a mobile phone.

The woman attacked the 25-year-old as he sat in the taxi and also struck his dog before walking off.

The video begins with an argument between both parties, with the alleged attacker walking away.

Something is then said behind the camera that prompts the woman to turn around and run towards the taxi, where the victim is now seated in the front passenger seat.

She opens the taxi door whilst shouting: "What you f*****g little k*****d", whilst she attacks the victim and his puppy in the passenger seat.

The man who was walking with the woman originally has now joined her near the taxi and the argument continues, as the victim's partner says: "look now you little d****** you're getting nicked, the pair of you are getting nicked".

The woman screams: "Call the 'bizzies' because he can call people a h**, send them around to my address.

The woman continues: "You want to call the police on your own 'fella' love, you know when he is abusing you."

The victim's girlfriend responds by saying: "F*** o** - harassing disabled people."

The argument repeats itself until the victim's partner ends by saying: "I have got you on camera running over to the car and attacking him you stupid b****."

The victim and his partner spoke to the ECHO about what happened but do not wish to be named.

The man's partner told the ECHO: "The woman was bringing her dog near the grass of my partner's all the time and not cleaning up its mess, and my partner was getting fined off his landlord all the time.

"He asked her stop doing it, and she gave him all sorts of abuse, this was around December time.

"Yesterday, we were taking the puppy to the vet, when she came around the corner, and as soon as she saw my partner she just started hurling abuse at him.

"My partner is an amputee, he has a prosthetic leg, so she was making really nasty and derogatory comments about that."

She added: "So my partner's little brother said something to her, and she ran towards the taxi, ragged the door open, punched my partner and also punched the puppy on his lap in the process.

"When I told her I was recording this, she started making false and malicious allegations about our relationship. We have given all this information to the police."

Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that officers received a report that a man and his dog were assaulted in Wirral yesterday (Thursday 10 March).

"We received a report that a 25-year-old man was assaulted by a woman and verbally abused while he was in a taxi on Lowwood Road in Birkenhead at around 4.35pm.

"It was reported that the woman shouted at the victim before opening the taxi door and punching him in the face. She then struck the dog before walking off.

"The victim reportedly suffered a swollen face and was left shocked and distressed by the incident. His dog was reportedly terrified during the incident.

"Officers are investigating and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.

"If you have any information on this incident please contact our social media desk on Twitter @MerPolCC or Facebook ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ with any information, with reference 480 of 11 March."

Any idea what those words might be?

Edit. Actually, maybe the first is head and knob rearranged, although it doesn't quite fit the number of characters. But of course some journalists seem to have problems with spelling at times

And the other word maybe 'hag'? If it was Glasgow I'd have guessed 'hun', which is a pejorative term, supposedly regligious and sectarian in character. But it's not Glasgow, so suspect it's something else :-s
