As these things go, nothing particularly noteworthy here. But presumably it's not considered good practice to disclose the full vehicle registration number, as opposed to the first four letters and numbers here. Precisely why, I don't know :?


Appeal issued after taxi stolen in Farnborough

We are appealing for information after a taxi was stolen during a robbery in Farnborough.

It was reported that the incident took place at the taxi rank in Union Road, near Farnborough Main railway station, at around 9.55pm on Thursday 28 August.

A man approached the taxi and assaulted the driver before dragging him out of the vehicle.

The man then drove the taxi towards Farnborough Road.

The vehicle is described as a white Peugeot E7, with a registration number beginning SF15.

We are keen to hear from anyone with information about this incident, particularly if they have seen the vehicle.

Perhaps you were in the area at the time, and have dashcam footage that may help our enquiries?

Or perhaps you have seen this vehicle in the local area?
