I'm afraid due to unforseen circumstances over the weekend this has arrived a little too late for all you Devon taxi drivers.

HEADLINE: Major meeting for taxi drivers

Taxi drivers from across North Devon will be meeting in Ilfracombe on Monday.

All taxi drivers are welcome to attend the AGM which will be the first held by the recently formed North Devon Taxi and Private Hire Association.

The meeting will be at 7.30pm at the Landmark Theatre.

On reasonably long journeys it's wise to "always get your money up front" and never give money to passengers.

It would appear some drivers in the west country are too trusting but maybe a lesson has been learnt here?
