From an industry that makes you work 12 hours a day, and has to ship drivers in from the former war zones of Eastern Europe, and have thousands of drivers leave each year?

In short, no. :D

Good so you agree that the industry needs a union and that the services the GMB offers in terms of education would be of use.

There was me thinking you were just a Greedy Big Canute who thought it was funny when women get chucked out in Peckham and verbally abused.

You know the sort of bloke who doesn't give a toss if the elderly or disabled can't be dropped or picked up in the spot they want just so as you can corner the market and perhaps even make us horrible foreigners work 13 hours a day.

How wrong I was.

Heard the one about the website where the drivers pretend to be proprietors who rip their drivers off.

Thats very much dependant on what the education consists of? Bigotry, Lies and the celebration of terrorist activities don't rate very highly in my book, if they motivate you, then good luck.

By a fellow Minicab driver? (you are a driver are'nt you? :^o )Not very nice at all, especially as it was South London, but not unexpected from the amatuer side of the industry.

Greedy? No, wealthy? Yes. :D

In your easy access, wheelchair friendly Vauxhall Astra's? :D

Ever wonder why the Taxi card scheme is operated by real London Taxi's? :-$

So bigotry and lies. What a good job the current leadership of the GMB are doing weeding those twin evils out of the movement. Any genuine person would and should jump at the chance to join them.

As for the bit about terrorism couldn't agree more individual terrorism is totally wrong and state terrorism is worse. The killing of innocent civilians cannot be justified.

But if the murder of dozens by suicide bombers is wrong how much more wrong is the killing of hundreds of thousands with cruise missiles and bombs dropped from a great height by B52 bombers.

The illegal wars for natural resourses were also based on lies and bigotry. I never knew we had so much in common GBC.

There are good and bad in every industry just like there are in every race which is why we are quite prepared to unite with the progressive proprietors who are trying to take our industry forward. police who perform like this no matter what side of whichever side of the industry they come from should be dealt with by having their license revoked.

As for the inuendo that I am not a licensed cab driver and my car is not licensed for god sake you don't think anyone would be bothered to have a conversation with you unless they were bored sh*tless in between jobs do you.

As far as Wealthy yes/ Greedy no is concerned could you elucidate.

No Skoda Superb the sort of car people choose to travel in when the little black money box repeatedly fails to turn up on time.

Anyway final point the education the GMB provides is mainly basic skills like numeracy and literacy, basic computor skills and English for those who have English as a second or other language.

Unfortunatly much as we would like to help you GBC once the brain has been surgically removed it is very difficult.

.

Never the less, it seems to have provoked the expected reaction, as one would expect from the amatuer side of the industry.

Unless they're wheelchair bound, but I guess if they have used Minicabs before, they'll be used to a second class service which discriminates against the disabled.

But just think, when your dreaming about parity with real Taxi's, perhaps you could moot the idea of supplying a WAV as a standard?

Did you ever have any affection for Noels Edmonds old Saturday night show?
