go it alone appealling against a County Court decision, and what costs I could be liable for?
How long is a piece of string?
But the costs can be reduced if you do a lot of the donkey work for yourself. By that I mean getting case law from here and finding fault in the decision yourself, not getting briefs charging £1/200 an hour to do it.
If you represent yourself, then if you lose then you may have to pay the other sides costs, but not always. If you win you can claim all your costs.
The problem is if you win then they might appeal and then the costs will mount up big time.
Think twice please before you go to court, but if you do I wish you well and hope we on here can advise you.
