I am told that the first stretched limousine that was confiscated under the new laws is going to the crusher today.
Sorry I have no other details at the moment.

This is the sorry state of Britain today..........Crush the vehicle!

I think that a more sensible stance would be............re licence/ number plate the said car...................and then auction it.

Give the money to the Hospitals or a Children's home/whatever.

All depends if it's hanging, if it is then crush it, if it's worth a bit then as you were, auction it off and proceeds to children or something like that.

They've gotta crush them, you're not even allowed to buy a confiscated car for scrap or spares.. If vehicle is sold/auctioned then someone could buy it for the original owner that had the vehicle confiscated and it ends up back in the same hands as it was before, so no deterrent  Tried this with a near brand new Volvo that my mate had in his yard that was due for crushing cos it had no tax/insurance. I can vouch it ended up crushed. eusasmiles.zip

One of the main reasons for confiscating and crushing is that the vehicle has not passed the criteria to be used on our roads so selling it to someone isn't an option.

Have they been siezed because they are unlicenceable or to pay debts to HMRC? There is a difference.
