We're inviting you to our first Edinburgh driver event where you can sign up to the UK’s only app working exclusively with Black Taxis. With strictly no joining fees, come in and learn more about GetTaxi and how we can bring you more jobs through the app straight away.

We'll be at the EDINBURGH HOLIDAY INN, 132 CORSTORPHINE ROAD, EH12 6UA, MONDAY 9th MARCH from 10.30am till 7.30pm and every hour starting from 11am you can join us for training workshops, company presentations and Q&A sessions.

We’ll be on hand to answer all of your questions plus, explain all ​of​ the ​great​ benefits you get from working with ​us. If you’re thinking of joining, come along and we can get you signed up on the day.

There’s parking available, tasty refreshments and everyone is welcome so please ​pop in ​and say hi.

Can I also ask, How safe is your App What security measures do you have in place concerning Data including driver/customer bank details? not a requirement with our App, Can I also ask what level of responsibility do Get Taxi take if a journey goes wrong? Do you operate that in a similar way to Uber, they don't take any kind of responsibility Do you Spam customers and drivers all day and every day We don't, Uber does though I'm thinking Get Taxi operate in a similar way

PAUL, you should be targeting the drivers, after all, they outnumber the owners by at least 3:1 and they really are the Taxi Trade in Edinburgh. Not these dafties like Dougie.

Oh and to all the drivers out there, the quicker you sign up with GET TAXI the more chance you have of breaking the back of these big rentals being charged by City and CRT owners. Think about it, no jobs coming off the phones, no big rental. You will just be hiring the cab while paying a percentage on each job, you take off your own GET TAXI phone app.

So lets be having you boys, you have no loyalty to the likes of Dod, Les or Dougie...

There is always new ideas coming to the market this is no different , because it's for the black cab trade and not private hire it will benefit us Private Reggie . Don't be fooled by comparing it to uber this is totally different why not try it and see it can enhance your earning potential .

Nice Try Skull but Get Taxi is not for me, I'll be promoting our own App, it's customer data friendly, our App doesn't use cookies, doesn't store IP addresses, doesn't send spam e-mails, doesn't provide user data to third parties, doesn't require bank details, our App does what it says on the tin, just press a button and your taxi is booked, that's by App and on speed dial if booking by phone, less hassle for punter and me, I'll take that thanks very much

It's not required, we have our own, it's distracting you from promoting a truly customer friendly App, don't give it the light of day, it's your choice though, a reminder though, rule 1.2 and 2.6 of the AOA, if your found out you forfeit your position, it's goodbye to your position, out the door as they say.
