Dozens of them about, many of them want money upfront.

Not sure you will get the best rates via punters using an internet search.

I have heard of them but like almost all of these sites their aim is to get commissions for driving you down to silly cheap prices by promising customers GUARANTEED cheaper deals and trying to get taxi firms to underbid each other for the business minus their cut of course

they are middlemen trying to get a chunk of your takings

We use them. They have a bid system with a suggested quote. We ignore the suggested quote and go in at rates that are acceptable to our drivers. We win some, we lose some. Bill them Monday paid on Thursday religiously. They insist on an ops license before they give any work and insist on seeing the renewal when it's due.

Thanks for your replies.

Only just started using them, bid on about 20 jobs so far but not successfully. Looks to me as they just give the job to whoever bids the lowest. Frustrating thing is, their quote is roughly 10% more expensive than my "normal" price. I've ben bidding 10-15% lower than normal (ie they would get approx. 25% of their quoted fare) and still not getting the job.

They seem pretty greedy to me, although very pleasant to deal with and a simple system to use.....

At their quoted prices i'd not touch them, let some other idiot do the runs at 60p a mile, that'll quickly remove the competition as they fold.
