Dougie, that's just for starters.    Oh and they won't be paying anything like the radio dues you pay but they will be taking your work. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Never mind Dougie, I am sure Dod and Les will take a cut in their salary to help you out.

Oh and Dougie, you never did tell us how much you pay in radio dues a month?

Oh and Dougie, what about your plate "value" and your share in City Cabs? #-o

It's not looking good Doug, now that you have a $40 billion dollar company breathing down your neck.

the HC trade aint initially threatened, its the PH trade

Ironically throughout the UNITED KINGDOM the HC trade are doing the battle as an act of benevolence to those pauper PH Operators ](*,)

I can't imagine any street car in Edinburgh not taking up the app and as for the Ph a lot of them are desperate for an alternative to the radio dues they are being charged. I can see how Uber would destabilise the taxi/ph trade in a City without even trying.

Ah yes the $40 Billion poor Dougie, it's not looking good for plate "values" and radio shares in Edinburgh and it won't be long before they are all squealing in the streets...

plate values have little to do with it IMO - but all those large fares does

Apps are really taking off and the days of trying to get through on the phone, especially at peak times, is becoming a thing of the past and like you say "all those large fares" it's got to hurt...

we're all told Edinburgh is an international city - why download a localised app when you can have and already maybe have a global one?

Interesting they apply for a booking office licence but don't offer customer support, an option to cancel a booking or ask where is my taxi  Seems if you have a concern or complaint you don't have any options as a customer, a breach of their human rights maybe, ok consumer rights

With a radio company like mine, customers have back up, Uber from a customers point of view is a nightmare

How can anyone promote this is beyond me

Dougie, don't you read anything relevant:

Quote:
Dougie, Uber is setting up in Edinburgh exactly the way you want it, no unregulated vehicles or unlicensed drivers, only Street Cars and PHC. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

These stupid comments you make, it's like you are living in a different plane of existence. #-o #-o #-o #-o

Dougie, Uber is setting up just the way you want it, #-o licensed vehicles and drivers

Dougie, you complete plank, the app is about connecting the customer with the driver, there is no middle man and that's the whole point of the App. You deal direct with the driver. However, the app has many features to choose from: https://www.uber.com/safety

Oh and you were about to tell us how much you pay a month in radio dues? #-o #-o #-o #-o
