where they get £18,000 from I dont know!!

I think it's to do with the upgrading of the brakes/suspension/tyres and just about everything.

Or maybe the £18,000 is the amount of back dated tax these folks have been avoiding for years.

Yes there is a hell of a lot of work needed to get a COIF on these vehicles. Dan Cawley, who does the conversions, has spent a fortune on getting the parts made and tested. Dan is a member on here and I dare say he would be able to tell you what parts have had to be redesigned.

But surely most parts cannot simply be standardised parts, there must be 100s of different limo types, makes and models....one size will not possibly fit all, i guess most parts will be almost bespoke. i guess it could cost a fortune right enough.. :?

Wouldnt a 16 seat transit bus wi darkened out windows and leather seats not be a better option..once inside you could mistake it for a stretched roller..just on the outside would it look..well..normal

Does it matter what it Costs or is needed to get a COIF, A COIF is needed so you have to pay what ever to conform. If Mr Limo Man was not such a Fuuk Wit he would have realised all this before paying megga bucks for his Tart cart , it has been on the books that a COIF is needed so why should they think they sould be exempt.

Actually there are very few different types of vehicle. The most obvious one being the Hummer H2. These are the main ones that Danny converts at the moment.

I don't know about transit minibuses but there are some very nice minibus conversions already on the market complete with COIF etc.

So true...but you'd need a very well padded bank account to buy one..serious bucks!!!

Dont they do something cheaper in the Tuk Tuk price range??

Don't worry, that picture is just an example from Wannabe of a not so boring exterior.
