<------- hates LTi anyway, 30k+ worth of Fiat imo, how they've lasted this long is beyond me with their sub standard product.

ppeterson 2nd post. Owners of vehicles to blame, of course. The filters were the responsability of who ever fitted them, In this case LTI and thier service agents. They are responsable to the drivers. LTI can then sue thier suppliers. Dont worry more will break down. Nobody trusts M+O that will be the demise of the TX4. There will be more to follow, watch this space.

An engine should not seize up just because it hasnt been serviced for 30000 miles theres more to that in my opinion

I have spoken to the first Cab to seize today. His name is JH and he is a respected owner driver on the City, with 25 years service. He has shown me the bill for his repair £5100. (for a short motor FFS). He has also shown me his service book. He was serviced 7000 miles before this incident. Whilst he was negotiating with M+O over the cost of this repair the offered to take his 57 plate TX4 off his hands for, wait for it, 10 grand !!!. This is why M+O is despised all over Manchester and why I hope they dont sell another wheel, never mind cab. Copies of these documents are available to protect the innocent. The cab in question has only done 127 k miles. The other two vehicles have done less.

I was chatting to my garage owner today and mentioned this story. He's heard nothing, and he rents out 80 LTI taxis.

KPM (His main parts supplier) have said nothing either.

It seems to be a localised event.
