They look at maintenance as a money loser.

You miss my point.

What if the place is 100% asian cabbies?

Are you suggesting all asians dont service and maintain their cabs?

CC

Most don't which is evident round here.

From what I've seen of other areas then yes, the standards do seem to drop. I got in one a few weeks ago coming back from Rotherham, I kept asking him if it would get us back home? All I kept getting was "yes boss no problem". It was like something shipped over from Iraq with more rattles than a kids toy shop.

I am an Asian and I run a taxi company, but I agree with the statement above, but un-like most my co owners I have done something about it, I started a petition that all old and new drivers must have a good level of English, this would allow easy communication between drivers and passengers. Since I have introduced this I have been called a racist (by my own so called people lol), but the fact is since I introduced the fact that all my drivers must be able to speak good English and advertised that all my drivers can speak English I have seen growth of 130%, figures speak for them self.

Good for you pal !

Any licensed driver who needs an interpreter to attend court or the licensing department should be dumped in the north sea !

OK lets get down to the bones of it. Round here many garages won't touch the Asian drivers because of their inability to pay their garage bill when the work has been done.

If a garage carries out any work for them then presents them the invoice for paying they try to get £100 knocked off the bill by saying "I give you this much"?

They've tried to knock a few garages round here but word travels fast and now no garage will touch them.

The guy I go to won't touch them after being took for nearly £1,000.

It's not only English that needs to be interpreted in a court.

Any of us fluent in Latin? :?
