I don't think any of you are quite grasping the seriousness of this situation. Anderson, is a dirty cop, his chum, Cab Inspector Smith, was caught turning a blind eye, in an attempt to help Anderson out on behalf of the Chief Constable. The Chief Constable, David Strang, was only rubber stamping the opportunity (or so he thought) to get rid of him, and you can bet, Cllr, Rob Munn, though he was doing his pals a favour by signing off on the licence.
Anderson, must have cut a deal somewhere along the line, to get this sort of treatment.
This is the, “if you go quietly, we will help you out as best we can" scenario.
