But a hackney driver who doesnt work on a circuit would be worse off be it driver or owner, but that doesnt matter does it as long as ph are ok.Glad you think of us all x

So PH drivers should refuse taxi plates because it might effect the taxi trade?

I suggest you put up a better case to the Law Commission.

Why not leave it alone ? I dOnt see much of a argument from you except you want a free plate ? Sorry maybe you just want whats good for your collegues ? No didnt think so , just a free plate will do you and feck everyone else.Get real

It's you that keeps bringing 'it' up.

From what I see of hackney trade, you can poke it up your rear.

But I want that to be the decision of the drivers, and them alone.

Rest assured of all the licensed drivers in the country I'm the one with the least to worry about.

However let's see what comes out of the Law Commission and then run a worried table.

Mr Sussex has and will post what he hopes for rather than known facts, he was telling me the de-reg story 3 years ago, basics are and it can't be argued with if you have a survey and it says you need more you issue a ltd amount more until the numbers are sufficient, this is how the responsible councils do it, the irresponsible ones just open the door, I see no reason why anyone with a brain on the LC would think any different so I don't expect any change there, if you notice he runs Streamline Brighton down as well, this company has been well set up for years now and keeps the likes of him in check, hence his dislike of them, what I think the LC are going to be more focused on is who actually gets a license in future, the tightening up of rules for migrants so they must be here for so long before applying and be able to prove they can do the job properly and to find out more about their histories before considering them as suitable, car age and condition that it's kept will be another focus point,

Nowhere do I see them opening a flood gate that will mean the standard of the cab will be allowed to fall, and having too many cabs and not enough wages means bald tyres and cars that should be long gone, I don't see PH in a bus lane anytime soon either as it's clear as day they will ruin the whole system, we had to go corp coloured and liveried to get the lanes because all objecting were worried about PH using them as well, if there is any justice to be served they will remove the baron cabby who abuses others while sitting at home, I think a no more than 5 licenses per man would sort this out, 5 is enough to make it unviable to run 5, but a company could run with some dispensation for further units as long as they can prove to the IRS that they are the proper owner of the vehicles.

So, if Brighton ends up de-regulated I can see a mass influx coming their way, so Mr Sussex had best be looking for a new job soon after, cos you can have your standards thing to try and keep em out, but the reality is if a migrant wants to drive a cab he will study up enough to qualify, and as his costs won't be the same as yours he will move you on pronto, course I dunno what I'm on about really, I've just left a rank full of the UN that is moaning about how quiet it is, and the reason it's like it is the extra 400 PH cars that have appeared in the last 2 years courtesy of Mr Baron, Mr Sussex doesn't realise he's infact opening the door wider to Mr Baron.
