I think Mr TF and Mr Griffin are not the best of friends, and to be fair to Mr TF the self-employment issue is an utter scam, but if Mr Griffin wins I very much doubt Mr TF will request his members keep out of the bus lanes.

Ken was interviewed by that national PH magazine.

When asked about PH access to Londons Bus Lanes, his answer was a resounding NO.

Perhaps someone could put a link in to all the mayoral candidates interviews?

Terence Flanagan and Griffin have a lot of history. GBC agrreeing with TF just shows where this is going. Griffin told Flanagan to F^&k Off at the gates to his empire. Flanagan considers any operator to be scum. Flanagan would have Private Hire picking up off the streets ASAP. GBC you'll get what you ask for.

Yeah but on the other hand certain PH operators would bring in drivers for eastern europe on a highly dubious self employment contract, put them up in their own sh*tty accom (which the driver pays for), give them a uniform (which the driver pays for), give them a sat nav (which the driver pays for), and then call them taxi drivers.

And if a PH operator buys 4 human beings.....he might get 1 human being free

I don't agree with a lot of things Terry says, it's all on this forum in black and white, but I do agree on this one, Griffins using his replaceable assets, as in the drivers, in his never ending ego trip to have the transportation world doing as he wants.

What Terry wants in the way of a one tier system is up to him, I'm referring to the current situation with JG playing god again.

1/3rd of all minicab licenses are not renewed at the time of the 1st renewal......thats a massive figure

Indeed, giving £254K to a political party, whilst ‘pseudo employees’ are doing Victorian hours is also a wee bit of a moot point beyond the ken of many a decent person.

If it does best they get another 200k of coppers to keep law and order, cos if they are that stupid they have no idea what is in store when a group of ranked drivers watches a PHC constantly intercepting the work, I can see the knives coming out and they'd best hope it's only tyres that get it, and there is no compromise I can think of because no matter what rules you place PH will break and abuse them and even though a local driver might stand for it the immigrants and Asians won't, they will be at each other, I've seen it already a few times, and that was just because someone pulled out infront of someone.
