i myself am a taxi driver in north lanarkshire south area i work for united taxis and it is an ok company but years ago taxi driving was a worthwhile job it could get you a decent salary but now there is more people driving cars there is more taxis on the road and alot of people can't afford taxi fares :cry:

Yeah i understand that and cheers for replying but i see many taxis seem to be sitting all around the area and i have been keeping my eye out on the rank for a while now and it would seem there are never alot if any at all sitting in a Q which has me wondering why

which area will you be working in North lanarkshire south area (white plate), central area (red plates), or north area (yellow plate)?

Might be worthwhile getting your PVG and then looking to get yourself a contract ( School Transport etc. ), Good luck anyway. :idea:

Hi,

I'm in a similar position, and in NLC - how did it work out?

Also I already have a PVG - how would I get work by having it?
