I think decimation is the word.

In that case why not lobby the council to undertake a ballot where all owners put their plates in a pot and only half are drawn out. The rest will have to leave the trade and find employment elsewhere.

Just curious if your so pro deregulation and open markets, why didnt you just hand your plate back ?

You'll find most are like that in the trade, which I am sure you're quite aware of..... Still only 5 years to endure... I'm sure it will get pretty interesting when ALL transport for public use will need to be wheelchair accessible as well as allowing for different types of disability. It will come, mark my words....

Why hypocrite? Although it's a better term than the one you used last week.

And what are you on about the good of other drivers and it's fair? I know it's not fair for the likes of you, but I don't give a toss about the likes of you. Never have, never will.

Sussex you go on about 'everyone should have a plate' mantra, and why shouldnt mr minicab not be able to pick up.Then this evening you say to someone why dont half of you hand your plates back . This comes from someone who got a free plate and then sold it . Hypocrite is pretty self explanotary domt you think. Now if you like me or not i really dont give a feck ,but you i find a joke.

Well you have it partly right, but mostly wrong.

A hypocrite is someone who says something yet does otherwise. In the 30,000+ posts I have done on TDO I have never had a pop at anyone selling their plates. Please feel free to check.

I do however wish council couldn't restrict, so the issue of selling plates wouldn't occur.

As for minicabs (do they exist?) legally picking up off the street, never said that, but support those minicab owners who wish to operate taxis instead, leading them to legally pick up off the street.

However on a lighter side you make me smile, because the likes of you are the same throughout all the restricted area, and I'm really pleased the reasons I dislike you are the same reasons I dislike your kind in my manor.
